| The above mentioned girl B. Sarumathy was living with her parents in a small rented thatched hut which is not giving enough protection from sun and rain. Her father is working as an agricultural labour. Average income in a month would be around Rs. 3000/- it may vary as per the demand and supply. He uses to get 3 days of work in a week. B. Sarumathy’s father is suffering from asthma and sinusitis, the man is struggling a lot to do his day to day activities. He is unable to work regularly. He needs to spend most of his earnings for his medication. Lack of income and huge debt made their life a nightmare. The parents like to give their child a bright future. The child B. Sarumathy is studying 2nd standard. She is a calm active girl. She likes to play together with her friends. She is fond of non-veg dishes. Her favourite subject is Mathematics. She is a very obedient girl and loves very much to go school. In this situation her mother came to know about Valarkuzhanthai Trust and its services to the children especially to the girl children. Hence her parents approached and explained the situation of the family and the aspiration of the girl B. Sarumathy. We assured her parents to provide support and ensured the girl’s education and guaranteed for the bright future of the child. Accordingly we accommodated the girl in Valarkuzhanthai home. Now she is studying 2nd standard. She is studying well and has scored good grade marks in the recent examination. The girl B. Sarumathy ambition is to become a Doctor. She is interested in playing Kho Kho and in dancing. Our main aim is to provide free education to the abandoned girls and provide a platform to achieve their goal. Accordingly we are providing free educational requirements, hostel facilities and fulfill the needs of B. Sarumathy. Still we have to travel many more years with the child till she settles in her life. So we request you to support to bring a luminous future in her life. |
