| The above mentioned girl P. Dhanya Sri was living with her parents and brother in a small thatched hut which does not give enough protection from sun and rain. Her father is a construction labour. Her father is addicted to alcohol. He doesn’t go for work regularly and spend most of his money in alcohol. He doesn’t care about his family. He uses to quarrel with his wife every night. The wife and children were often abused by him physically and mentally. P. Dhanya Sri’s mother is working as a sweeper in a small hotel. Average income in a month would be around Rs. 3200/-. Her remuneration is not even sufficient to meet the basic needs of the family. The children were suffered malnutrition. P. Dhanya Sri’s mother is very keen on getting rid her children from her stressful family environment and to give good education to her children. | |

| Dhanya Sri is a very active girl studying in 1st standard. Her lovingly socializing habit draws her lot of friends. She is a very obedient girl and loves very much to go school. She is good in her studies. Her favourite hobbies are singing songs and alphabets.
In this situation her mother came to know about Valarkuzhanthai Trust and its services to the children especially to the girl children. Hence her mother approached and explained the situation of the family and the aspiration of the girl P. Dhanya Sri. We assured her to provide support and ensured the girl’s education and guaranteed for the bright future of the child. Accordingly we accommodated the girl in Valarkuzhanthai home. She is studying well and has scored good grade marks in the recent examination. Our main aim is to provide free education to the abandoned girls and provide a platform to achieve their goal. Accordingly we are providing free educational requirements, hostel facilities and fulfill the needs of P. Dhanya Sri. Still we have to travel many more years with the child till she settles in her life. So we request you to support to bring a luminous future in her life. |
